With its blue and black stripes, the “Gangla Pelga” is an artisan fabric rhythmic to the sounds of traditional myths of the Mossi ethnic group of Burkina. The Legend says that this cloth would bring luck. It accompanies the child throughout his life from birth.
This fabric is woven by craftsmen from the weaving center created by Elizabeth in the 1970s. The aim of this centre is to facilitate the occupational integration of the most vulnerable women and victims of violent patriarchy.
We associate this model with cork, excellent substitute for certain petroleum derivatives as well as animal leather. Soft and waterproof, the cork degrades naturally, without creating toxic residues.
Minimalistic and discreet, the Yenenga model is ideal for adopting a relaxed, classy and Urban style.
